Rotterdam Terminal
We are a multipurpose dry bulk terminal operator, our terminal have excellent access to deep-water seaways and to the hinterland by means of inland waterways, rail links and motorways.
Our terminal is equipped with the latest technology in the area of loading, unloading and storage facilities. Our terminal not only has onshore equipment (mechanical and pneumatic) at its disposal, but also a fleet of self-supporting floating cranes and weighing towers. We are a logistical partner for customers in the food and feed industry, building and production industry and the energy sector.
Our Rotterdam terminal is in transition and is investing heavily in new products and services to address changes in market and customer demand. To grow its services in agricultural products, minerals, building materials and biomass, high quality covered storage is required. Our port is well on track in executing a four-year masterplan to construct a total of 350,000 cbm of additional covered storage capacity at the Laurenshaven and Europort locations. This will increase Rotterdam total available covered storage to 800,000 cbm. These multipurpose sheds are located at storage areas previously used for the storage of in particular steam coal. Furthermore, our Rotterdam terminal has land and berth capacity available for further expansion.
